What Is The Difference Between Organic & Inorganic Listings?

What Is Organic (Natural Search) & Inorganic Search?

Most web users rely heavily on the search engines for information and answers to their queries. There are basically two types of search engine listings, organic listings and inorganic listings.

The organic listings are natural information and free of charge to the website owner. This includes both articles and  videos. The results on a search engine from their relevance match for the keywords searched for and caliber alone in organic listings data on the website being searched for. The organic results are far more effective as they produce more traffic and revenue since they get clicked more frequently. This consequently increases their page rank and since they remain there for a long time it gives them long-term impact. People while searching through the web very well know that the natural results are far more relevant than the paid ads. After all, people don’t want to be sold. So, they rarely click on these ads. They mainly focus on the natural results in the organic listings, for which the website owner need not pay any charges. However the downside is that Organic listings are very time consuming to go through and don’t produce immediate results.

Organic Vs Inorganic

Inorganic listings are not natural information and must be paid for. They are created for the purpose of search engine marketing or advertising for targeted traffic.  Examples of paid ads which feature information you want known on the search engines is Pay Per Click (PPC) or Google Adwords. These ads always appear on the right side of the page while the organic information is on the left side of the page. They can direct you to a website that can provide you with the product, service or information that you clicked on. The website usually matches what the ad says and can be used to target a certain niche. For example if it says “Fire you boss” then when you click on this ad the website should be about this.  Since an inorganic listing is purely for marketing or advertisement for any type of business, they are very easy to understand. They are used for immediate results and are listed for a very short period of time. However, not all businesses can afford to constantly pay out money to keep their inorganic listings going.
